Very hard ..

Every body worked very hard all morning ..At twelve o’clock ..Mrs Tinker drove into the town to get some more food .Leo left the site and went to the church .He wanted look at the Glanville family vault .

Some time later the kids stopped working .They were ready for their lunch .The sun is hot now Regan said Let’s eat our lunch by the river .The others agreed and they all went to the river .

Half an hour later all the food had been eaten .The four friends were stretched out on the grass .They felt slleepy in the hot sun .Time passed .

Suddenly ..Jack sat up and gave a shot .

Hey Frankie What are you doing ? he shouted .Regan and Tom sat up too .Frankie was standing in the river ! She was staring up at the old bridge ..The water nearly reached her waist .Regan ran down to the river bank .Frankie come out of there ..she shouted .Frankie smiled .Eleanor didn’t throw herself from the bridge ..she said .I’m sure of that

Frankie walked out of the water .Her Jeans were very wet.

Is there any more food ?She asked .Girls ! Tom said to his brother ..They’re all mad !

Jack laughed and the four friends lay down on the grass again ..Half an hour later Jack looked at his watch .We’ve been here for two hours ..he said We must get back to the site and do some more work .Come on !You three return to the dig .I must go to the church ..
