Keep in mind that the best way to learn a new language is to speak it.

It has become a necessity to have one or several languages besides our mother tongue, and as everyone knows it is not an easy thing to learn a new language but do not worry, put your mind to it and choose the language you want to learn then follow these steps:

1- Contact a person who speaks the language you want to learn :

Keep in mind that the best way to learn a new language is to speak it.

Often, most people spend all their time studying grammar and memorizing lists of words instead of actual use and putting what they have learned into practice.

Talking to a real person directly will help you feel more enthusiastic about learning the language you want to learn than staring at a book or computer screen.

2- Study and learn the language every day :

Often some claim that they have studied the language for four years « and are still not proficient in that language but when they say four years, it may mean that they have only studied the language for two hours a week during that entire period, let’s make one thing clear – if you want to learn a new language quickly – and that, within a few weeks or months – you have to commit to studying the language for a few hours a day.

Learning a language depends on repetition – when you repeat something several times your mind can easily remind after that, all you have to do is commit.

3- Carry a dictionary with you at all times :

Carrying a dictionary with you will save you a lot of time, so get a dictionary as quickly as possible.

It can be a paper dictionary or a dictionary application on your phone – you just need to be able to refer to it quickly whenever you need a word.

Carrying the dictionary will allow you to find the necessary word in a matter of moments. This is especially important when having a conversation and you don’t want to disable its flow from By not being able to remember a word, it will also help you to search for the word and use it immediately in a sentence.

You can also see the dictionary at separate moments throughout the day – when you wait in class at the grocery store when you’re on a coffee break at work, or on transportation, you can learn 20 or 30 additional words a day this way.

4- Watching, listening, reading, and writing in the language of your choice :

Immerse yourself in the language you want to learn, which means doing all the activities you normally do in your native language, in your new language, whether it’s reading, writing, or listening.

Perhaps the easiest thing you can do is watch TV shows or movies in the language you are trying to learn, try to avoid translations because you will tend to rely on them to make things easier, and try to watch shows or movies you already know her story – such as children’s cartoons or dubbed versions of English movies.

Knowing the context will help you decipher the meanings of words and phrases.

Change your language settings on all of your electronic devices so that you can learn words that you already know in your native language but that you do not know in the new language that you want to learn.

Download some audio recordings or listen to radio stations in the language you want to learn, this is a great way to immerse yourself in the language while on the go, this not only helps improve listening but also allows you to listen to the correct pronunciation of common words and phrases.
